PolikDream analysis with AI Read my dream

How Polik reads dreams

In Polik you can pick one of four interpretation methods or a short answer. A method is the lens through which the AI looks at your dream. Different lenses give different readings, and none of them is the only right one.

Classic dream dictionary

Looks at the key images of the dream and explains the meanings dream dictionaries and folk tradition give them. For example, water is linked to feelings, and a road to life’s path and choices.

Good if you are curious about traditional meanings. Remember that folk meanings are cultural tradition, not rules. Polik never presents them as predictions.

Psychological approach

Treats the dream as a reflection of your emotions, worries and recent events. Sleep research links dreaming to processing impressions and feelings: dreams often continue what is on your mind during the day.

Good if you want to understand what is going on inside you right now.

Jungian

Carl Gustav Jung believed dreams do not hide meaning but communicate it, balancing a one-sided conscious life. The reading looks for archetypes — images shared by all people, such as the Shadow, the Wise Old Man or the Self — and compares the dream with myths and symbols.

Freudian

Sigmund Freud described dreams as disguised wish fulfilment. The reading looks for hidden wishes and prohibitions behind the images.

This theory is historically important but disputed; modern science does not confirm much of it. Treat such a reading as food for thought, not a conclusion about yourself.

Short

Two or three sentences about the main meaning and one question for yourself. Handy when you want a quick answer.

How a reading works

Readings are written by an AI language model. The answer has sections: “In short”, “Dream images” (only what was actually in your description), “Possible interpretations”, “Feelings and context” (first what you wrote, then assumptions marked “perhaps”) and “Questions for yourself”.

The model is told not to predict the future, diagnose or invent details. The more you describe the plot, feelings and ending, the more accurate the reading. If your entry is very short, Polik will suggest answering a question or two.

AI can be wrong. If a reading does not resonate, that is fine: you know your life best.

Why readings differ

A dream about a train may mean change on your path for the classic dictionary, deadline stress for the psychological approach and a new life stage for Jung. These are different viewpoints, not contradictions. Under each reading you can try another method and compare.

Frequently asked questions

Which method should I choose?

If it is your first time, start with the psychological approach — it stays closest to what you feel. The classic dictionary suits you if you are curious about traditional meanings.

Is a reading a prediction?

No. Polik does not predict the future. A reading is material for self-reflection.

Can the AI be wrong?

Yes. It can misread the plot or offer an interpretation that does not fit. Treat it as one point of view.

Is my dream saved?

Without signing in, history stays in your browser; with an account, in your account. You can turn on “Don’t save to history”. See the privacy policy.
